The Harriman Reservoir, otherwise known as Lake Whitingham, is located in Wilmington Vermont. Ther reservoir has been a destination for nude swimming and recreation for generations. The Ledges brings like minded people together. The popularity of the Ledges has increased over the years, in fact there is now an added extra because nearby Abbot's Glen Naturist Resort opened in 2004 with rooms and camping available only 10 minutes away.
This particular part of the shorelines where nudity is an accepted practice is on a group of rock ledges jutting out of the water, hence "The Ledges" nickname.
It is not unusual to see families enjoying this location as well as couples and singles.
