CHM Montalivet Naturist Campsite The World's First Naturist Village Bordeaux, Gironde, France
Facilities and services are so extensive at this massive naturist village that you never have to leave the site. It prides itself on being the world’s first holiday naturist complex, opened in 1950 and featuring a two-kilometre-long sand beach. There are 3,081 pitches for tents and RVs and a myriad of mobile homes, chalets and tents for rent. Located on 500 acres of pine woods, the village is self contained with two swimming pools, 10 restaurants and a commercial site with 22 businesses selling everything from fish to hardware. Activities are limitless and include tennis, painting, evening entertainment, children’s clubs, cinema, library, whirlpool, sauna, basketball, handball, volleyball, archery, boules, diving, fishing, surfing, dancing and bicycle rentals.
