About 60 miles northeast of downtown Phoenix, Sycamore Creek has several natural pools used for skinnydipping. Crowds can range from just a few or zero during the week to 15 or 20 visitors on peak weekends. The area seems to attract mostly men with occasional women. The creek gets peak use in spring and fall since it is often dry in summer.
